Distance learning at few years later has become new method to get effective and efficiency in studying for bot teacher and students. It make possibility to take far distance meanwhile learning and studying process still held fluently. In distance learning there are many media and tools that can be used.
In the past time distance learning was be held by sending student some material to be learned at home. It was send to students through postman. You can imagine how long it took time, we must wait for postman come to our home to get object to be learned.
Cause it has felt by most people that was not simple and it was not support student in study. Then the method was change to electronic education . It was the easier way to study than we study within letter. There are some tools that can be used in this method. These tool include all of electronic tools such radio, tape audio/video, OHP, TV interactive, LCD projector and many others.
These tools were used by students to get better way in getting education. For examples they can use recorder to record what their teacher explained to be learned in next time. Not only students who can use this way, teacher also can give explanation about a subject within recorder. Teacher record their voice in order to be listened by class. This is mean that teaching and learning process still run without teacher coming.
Using this tool in teaching and learning also has the other problem. Student could not give question around the subject.But it will not happened if teaching and learning was held by using interactive model. Tool that used could be TV Interactive. By this way student could give a question as long as they did not understand about the subject.
After there was big change in around the world education system also changed. It was discovery of internet to be used for education media. This is the most effective and efficient way in holding teaching and learning process. Student can talk to teacher for discussion. Beside that more information also gotten from this method. More over teaching and learning can be done face to face.
